unfortunately our first show was rained out today. we packed all the gear and showed up at the beach by 8am. on time. this seemed like a miracle, there were two locations scouted out for us to play. one: the shell on the beach soaked in rain water, two: the pavillion, beach side, although covered had pools of standing water on stage. after two minutes of deliberation, we packed up and headed by home. i really wanted to play this show but we couldn't, ten minutes after we decided we would not set up and play in either of the locations it started raining. great thanks to the people at captain funs for not coming through with the alternative rain location, not surprising you can't wake these people up in the morning to help out a benefit for the lakeview trauma center, i guess this is a conflict of interest for the captain funs. apologies to anyone that may have shown up, and found sweaty joggers, stale bagels, and no rocketpacks. there are more shows coming up though:
